Ethereum Foundation to cut budget 40%

The Ethereum Foundation will cut its budget by roughly 40% this year, shifting to an endowment-style model. Vitalik Buterin said the goal is to reduce annual spending from 15% of treasury assets to around 5% by 2030. The cuts follow a 20% headcount reduction and the resignation of co-Executive Director Hsiao-Wei Wang.
