Apple Visual Intelligence can split bills, estimate food nutrition

Apple introduced a Siri mode in the iPhone camera app at WWDC 2026 that analyzes objects by tapping the shutter. Users can split restaurant bills by pointing at receipts and select items to calculate shares for Apple Cash. The feature also estimates food nutrition including protein, sodium, fiber, and processing details when pointing at dishes.
