Qualcomm reaches a deal to license Huawei patents behind the LogicFolding chip-stacking method, used in the Kirin 9050 Pro. The cross-license covers 5G devices and AI services, subject to FTC review under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act with a minimum deal size of $133.9 million this year. Qualcomm will reportedly pay Huawei, reversing a history where Huawei paid for licenses since 2001.
