Google Home Speaker gets June release date from one retailer - 9to5Google

Google Home Speaker will launch on June 25, 2026, according to Best Buy Canada's product page. The release date is specific to Canada and does not appear on the U.S. Google Store or American Best Buy. The device will retail at $99.99 and come in four colors: Berry, Hazel, Jade, and Porcelain. It features a 360-degree fabric design with status lights and a mute switch on the base. Google is finalizing software integration, with Gemini for Home still in Early Access. Updates to the preview experience occur three to four times per month since March. The speaker will pair with Google TV Streamer for a home theater setup. This marks the first official hardware timeline for the device, indicating software readiness is the main bottleneck.
