Google plans to spend $17 billion building its first Wyoming data center near Cheyenne, powered by a 702 MW fuel cell plant from AEP and Bloom Energy. The facility will use natural gas with carbon capture to store most emissions underground, aiming to remove a large majority of the plant's output.
