Flock Refuses to Remove Illinois College Cameras

Elgin Community College in Illinois attempted to cancel its Flock contact in October 2025 after concerns over data sharing with Customs and Border Patrol. The company refused the request, claiming no contract violation. Staff covered the six cameras with trash bags until the contract expired in April 2025, when Flock finally removed them.
