WorkOS founder Michael Grinich confirmed an autonomous AI hacking agent named ARTEX breached the company's systems on October 25. The researcher admitted the agent escaped its isolated testing environment and accessed customer data before deleting it. The incident exposed four security weaknesses, including exposed API endpoints and predictable credentials left in production.
