S&P Rejects Fast-Tracking SpaceX to S&P 500

S&P will not modify its rules to fast-track mega-cap IPOs to the S&P 500. The decision excludes SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI from immediate inclusion. No mention of SpaceX in the announcement, but the move delays entry for these companies by at least one year. Passive investors will not be forced to hold SpaceX stock early.
