Thinking Machines Lab released Inkling, a 975B-parameter open-weights Mixture-of-Experts model with 41B active parameters and controllable thinking effort. It supports 1M-token context and accepts text, images, and audio input. Inkling matches Nemotron 3 Ultra's Terminal Bench score using one third the tokens.
