Ether.fi stripped restaking out of weETH, making it a plain Ethereum staking token, and moved restaking to a new token, weETHs. The split gives holders a choice between standard rewards or higher-yield, higher-risk restaking. Ether.fi holds about $3.55 billion in customer deposits.
