Kit Carson Electric Cooperative signed the first New Mexico BEAD agreement, receiving $26.9 million to build fiber connecting 3,935 locations. The co-op contributes $12 million matching funds for the project in Colfax, Rio Arriba, Sandoval, Santa Fe and Taos counties.
