TDC sues Illinois over digital asset tax

The Digital Chamber (TDC) filed a lawsuit Tuesday to block Illinois' Digital Asset Tax Act, which imposes a 0.2% tax on digital asset services for firms based in or operating in Illinois with gross receipts over $100,000. The suit alleges the tax violates the U.S. and Illinois constitutions and the Internet Tax Freedom Act.
