Florida received $197 million through the federal NEVI program but plans to spend it on an Aerial Highway Network of eVTOL pads instead of EV chargers. The Florida Department of Transportation proposes 32 take-off and landing pads, each costing about $5.6 million, near golf courses and luxury buildings.
