UN agency targets trustworthy AI agents

The International Telecommunication Union launched a focus group at its AI for Good Summit in Geneva on 9 July to develop frameworks for AI agents. The group aims to make agents identifiable, accountable, and under human control. First meetings are scheduled in Paris in November and Geneva in January.
