Walmart Adds Apple Pay, Google Pay Tap-to-Pay

Walmart will roll out Apple Pay and other contactless payments starting next week, with all US stores supported by the end of this year. Google Pay tap-to-pay arrives August 24 at select stores, expanding to all US locations by end of 2026 and fuel stations by mid-2027.
