Windows Flaws Bypass Security, Gain Privileges

Three new Windows flaws allow attackers to bypass security, gain system privileges, and install malware remotely. The "Download More RAM" vulnerability, presented at the 2026 USENIX Security Symposium in Baltimore, was discovered by researchers from the University of Birmingham and Durham University. It exploits missing write protection in Windows 11.
