Bouncy Castle Outbreak Infects 47 Kids With MRSA

A bouncy castle at a party in eastern Ireland caused the world's largest reported community-acquired MRSA outbreak, infecting 47 children and teens. The drug-resistant superbug spread to nearly all attendees who played in the inflatable. Four children were hospitalized, but none died. Officials linked the outbreak to prolonged play in warm, humid conditions.
