Notre Dame Replaces 955 Switches in Five Months

Notre Dame replaced 955 switches across roughly 170 buildings in about five months without taking the campus offline, standardizing on Cisco Catalyst 9300X switches managed through Catalyst Center. The refresh addressed hardware spanning 28 models and over 100 operating system versions, and supports a goal of 100-gig connections to end users by 2030.
