City of Taylor Sells 88-Acre Park Land to Data Center Developer for $10 Million

The City of Taylor sold 88 acres of land donated by the Bland family to a data center developer for $10 million. The original 1999 deed required the land be used as parkland by Williamson County. Ownership shifted through non-profits before the city transferred it in 2003.
