Sony will stop releasing PlayStation games on discs by 2028. Domino's Pizza UK, KFC España, GameSir, Proton, Windscribe, and PureVPN posted satirical announcements mocking the move. Domino's joked it would stop physical pizzas by April 1, 2027. KFC España claimed it would offer chicken in "fake PNG format." GameSir said controllers would be downloaded via quantum entanglement. Proton, Windscribe, and PureVPN parodied the shift with physical versions of digital services.
