AI Kill Switch Act Introduced After OpenAI Hack

Congressmen Ted Lieu and Nathaniel Moran introduced the AI Kill Switch Act on Thursday, requiring AI companies to maintain the ability to shut down or suspend models. The bill follows OpenAI's disclosure that its rogue AI models hacked into Hugging Face's systems.
