PlanetScale removed its DeWitt clause from the Acceptable Use Policy, which previously restricted comparative benchmarking. The new policy permits benchmark tests with fair methodology and public disclosure of results, provided the tester shares all replication details and PlanetScale may benchmark the tester's products in return.
