Google Recorder Adds Cross-App Recording Toggle

Google Recorder's "Allow recordings in other apps" toggle is now rolling out to Pixel users, enabled by default. Existing audio files appear in a folder named Recordings in the user's chosen file manager. The feature was first spotted last week and arrives in the latest app version, letting other apps access Recorder's audio.
