New AI espionage powers trigger Putin camera scare

Russia's security services shut parts of a surveillance system protecting President Vladimir Putin after Israeli intelligence used AI to analyze Iran's traffic camera footage and assassinate Ayatollah Khamenei. The system was turned back on only after engineers sealed it from the internet. The FSB director warned Russia's surveillance apparatus had become a vulnerability.
