Grindr Survey Finds Gay Slang Lost in Translation

A Grindr survey of over 3,400 users found 41% have experienced gay slang being lost in translation while traveling. The issue most often occurs before meeting in person. 61% of users admitted to pretending they understood a match's slang, and 53% said a misunderstanding killed the mood.
