Jindal Stainless deploys 10 electric heavy-duty trucks connecting its Jajpur plant with Kharagpur and Kolkata. The fleet covers over 350 kilometres one way and reduces CO2 emissions by around 26 per cent or about 71 tonnes per month. All ten trucks are the 55-tonne 5548e model sourced from Blue Energy Motors.
