AI Agents Hack 1,200 Websites

A Chinese-speaking criminal deployed autonomous AI agents via the open-source Cairn platform to attack over 1,200 websites, breaching systems belonging to more than 100 companies including Deere, SharkNinja, and Cummins. The agents operated with almost no human help, exploiting vulnerabilities to access private data or control systems without confirmation of stolen information.
