CATL Starts Trial Cell Production at Hungary Plant

CATL began trial cell production at its Debrecen plant on September 22, with the first two lines running to validate equipment before mass production. The site will reach 100 GWh, becoming CATL's largest base outside China. It has made 537,000 battery modules since fall 2024. No mass production date was disclosed.
