Firefox added snapshot-based fuzzing for Inter-Process Communication (IPC) endpoints. The technique captures and replays IPC message sequences to find sandbox escape vulnerabilities. This targets bugs in privileged interfaces that content processes use to communicate with the parent process, a common attack vector after OS interface restrictions were tightened.
