Solana cuts blockchain slot time to 350 milliseconds

Solana reduced its slot time to 350 milliseconds, the first reduction since genesis, targeting 200ms to cut network latency. Average slot times stood at 360ms, down from the original 400ms. Three further 50ms reductions are planned for mainnet in Agave v4.2.
