Eni, Petronas launch Searah JV for Indonesian and Malaysian assets

Eni and Petronas launched Searah, a 50:50 joint venture overseeing 19 gas assets in Indonesia and Malaysia. The venture starts with over 300,000 boepd production and plans to exceed 500,000 boepd within three years. A $6bn credit facility supports growth, with over $20bn planned investment over five years.
