Bitget Loses $351.6M in North Korean Hack

Bitget suspended withdrawals after hackers stole $351.6 million from its hot and warm wallets on Thursday evening. The exchange linked the theft to North Korean hackers, who spoofed transaction data in a backend wallet system. The User Protection Fund, holding 5,500 BTC worth about $464 million, will cover all losses. Bitget Wallet was unaffected.
