UK data centers risk water priority during heatwaves

Water UK warned that data center water usage has not been factored into UK government AI growth zone projections. The trade body called the plans "fatally flawed" and said projections "explicitly exclude" data centers. The UK faces a 5 billion litre water deficit by 2055.
