Restate raises $20M Series A for AI agent durability

Berlin-based Restate raised a $20 million Series A led by Singular, with Redpoint Ventures and Capital One Ventures participating, bringing total funding to $27 million. The startup, founded in 2024 by Apache Flink creators, provides durable execution infrastructure for AI agents and backend applications. It will use the funds for product development and a US expansion, including a San Francisco commercial hub.
