TikTok US Joins Lantern Child Safety

TikTok's US unit, spun out eight months ago, has joined Lantern, a cross-platform child safety program whose members include Google, Meta, Microsoft and Apple. Lantern participants shared over 2 million signals of harmful behavior through 2025. TikTok US is also committing $2 million to NCMEC's CyberTipline modernization, a three-year, $10 million project backed by AWS, Microsoft and Palantir.
