Waymo Expands Robotaxi Coverage to 250 Square Miles

Waymo announced today it adds nearly 250 square miles of driverless coverage across five US cities. The expansion includes Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, San Diego, and the San Francisco Bay Area. This brings total service to 15 metros with over 500,000 paid rides weekly. Waymo logged 3.9 million rider-only miles per week in Q2 2026.
