LevelHead replaced the Godot engine with an in-house engine and custom compiler in Turing Complete 2.0 on July 14, 2026. The update claims 100x faster simulation speed and supports bit widths between 2 and 64. Saves from the new version are incompatible with the old one, though players can stay on the old version via a Steam channel switch.
