BMW Confirms Entry-Level Neue Klasse EV for 2028

BMW confirmed at its Capital Markets Day that it will launch an entry-level Neue Klasse EV in 2028, expected to be called i1, a five-door hatchback for Europe. The iX4 electric SUV debuts later this year. BMW opened orders for the 2027 i3 sedan at $61,500. A US arrival for the i1 is unlikely.
