Anthropic Acquires Confidential AI Startup Opaque

On Tuesday, Opaque Systems announced an agreement with Anthropic to carry its confidential AI work forward. The deal involves licensing Opaque's technology and hiring some employees, including CEO Aaron Fulkerson and CTO Rishabh Poddar. Opaque previously closed a $24 million Series B with a $300 million valuation earlier this year.
