Meta pauses its employee mouse-tracking program over data-security fears

Meta paused its Model Capability Initiative, which tracks employee keystrokes and mouse movements for AI training, after sensitive data including private conversations and performance data was inadvertently made accessible to all staff. The company said it is investigating and has no indication data was improperly accessed.
