Researchers found an undocumented ESP32 feature that bypasses fixed-function modems to capture raw IQ baseband samples, turning the chips into low-cost SDR receivers. A browser flasher and web spectrum viewer support the original ESP32, C3, C5, C6, C61, S2, S3 and S31. The ESP32-C61 can capture up to 2.7 GHz, covering LTE band 7 and 5G NR n7.
