Uber Begins Robotaxi Trial in Manchester

Uber has begun a trial of autonomous vehicles in Manchester using technology from partner firms Pony and Verne. The tests involve mapping streets with a safety driver behind the wheel and no passengers, following limited passenger services starting last month in London.
