Bybit's EU payments arm secures Austrian e-money license

Bybit Payments GmbH received an electronic money institution license from Austria's Financial Market Authority. The authorization enables card, merchant, open-banking and person-to-person payment services via Bybit.eu, complementing Bybit EU GmbH's MiCA-regulated crypto services. The move could reduce reliance on third-party payment infrastructure.
