OpenAI Forms Math Advisory Group

OpenAI announced Monday that nine mathematicians will form an independent advisory group hosted at Princeton's Institute for Advanced Study to coordinate the release of over 100 open problems its internal model reportedly solved. The group, which OpenAI does not pay, can publish advice and change its own membership, but has no decision-making power and will not advise on pacing internal progress.
