The U.S. Department of Commerce lifted export controls on Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, restoring global availability. The models were pulled in mid-June under a directive restricting access for foreign nationals and non-U.S. citizen employees. Fable 5 is now available on Claude, Claude.ai, and Claude Code.
