Regulatory Issues Come Into Focus Ahead Of Zepto's Mega IPO

Zepto's cofounders were summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on April 8 over the company's ownership structure under FEMA. The CCPA issued a show cause notice in June 2025 for alleged dark patterns including drip pricing and disguised advertisement. Zepto also faced a ₹7 lakh penalty for dark patterns on December 4, 2025.
