Artists Protest OpenAI With Sinking Ship Sculpture

Two artists from Berkeley studio Odd Friend placed a 5-foot sculpture called What Iceberg? at the entrance to an OpenAI developer event in San Francisco on Tuesday. The piece depicts OpenAI leaders and investors escaping a sinking ship with wealth while others bear AI's costs. It took five days to build.
