StepFun, a Shanghai startup founded in 2023 by former Microsoft employees, announced the StepX Neo as the world's first AI agentic phone. The device runs Step AOS with the Step Amoo chatbot and on-device LLM Step Edge. Partners include Meituan, Alipay, and Baidu. No specs have been revealed.
