Micron Taps Bechtel for New York Chip Plant

Micron selected Bechtel as engineering, procurement and construction partner for the first phase of its New York memory manufacturing complex in Clay. The project, which broke ground in January 2026, is expected to become the largest semiconductor facility in the U.S. and support approximately 50,000 jobs across the state.
