GM Pivots to Energy Storage on AI Demand

General Motors partnered with startup Peak Energy Technologies to develop stationary grid batteries for AI data center power demand. GM also plans to let customer EVs feed power back to residential grids. The move follows Ford's similar pivot after slow EV adoption and a recent stock surge.
